With a strong intuitive approach, Lisa views the body as an intricate web of connected parts — her gift lies in helping patients harness their own healing potential. Aside from practicing, humanitarian work has always been essential in Lisa's life. Her childhood mentor, Dr. Henk Newenhouse, encouraged her to "think globally, act locally" and she has carried that with her into adulthood. In 2008, Lisa organized a month-long partnership with Hogar de Ninitas Maria Goretti and Marya Ayuda in Valparaiso, Chile, to mentor underprivileged and orphaned children. She regularly volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters NYC, Mainchance emergency drop-in center, and volunteers acupuncture services to those struggling with addictions.
When not at Moxi, Lisa can be found chasing around her 6 year-old, taking in live music, and spending time near the water.
