Yoko Katsuka
Licensed Acupuncturist
Yoko (she/her) is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist (Dipl. Ac.) who earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science. Her own positive experience receiving holistic care inspired her to pursue acupuncture and help others experience the benefits of a whole-body approach to health and wellness.
Yoko has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic and neurological concerns, autoimmune conditions, digestive issues, and mental health concerns. Her treatments primarily incorporate a unique palpation-based Japanese style of acupuncture, along with complementary techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha.
Yoko believes that the body is deeply interconnected and that symptoms in one area may influence—or be influenced by—what is happening elsewhere. Regardless of a patient’s primary concern or the location of their pain, she takes a whole-body approach to treatment with the goal of addressing underlying patterns and supporting the best possible outcomes. She hopes to help more people incorporate holistic medicine into a healthy, mindful lifestyle.
Originally from Japan, Yoko enjoys spending her free time walking through the park, birdwatching, and discovering great coffee spots around the city.
