Rent Our Space

The space is on the 12th floor of a landmark building just off Houston Street in SoHo. It is accessible to B/D/F/M (at B’way/Lafayette), 6 (at Bleecker St) and R/W (Prince St). The building has a doorman between the hours of 9-5:30pm M-Sat and buzz entry during evenings and weekends. We have a video intercom to buzz in and receive clients during doorman off-hours. The building offers 24/7 access, and our renters will have full sets of keys and are welcome to access the space from 6am-12am. Exceptions to this would be on the weekends when we hold group/gatherings on Sat/Sun evenings.

The space is designed by architecture / interior design firm Frederick Tang Architecture. Feng Shui is designed by Dr. Lisa Sumption, DAOM, L.Ac.

approx 1,800 usable sf. The elevator opens to stunning views overlooking Soho. The spacious waiting area offers built in seating, beverage station, and reception. Down the arched corridor you’ll pass by the first of six treatment rooms that lead you to a light drenched atrium with a built in skylight. The main bathroom is sizable and ada compliant. The back of house boasts a generous shared office for practitioners, private staff bathroom, herbal dispensary, laundry, wash station/sink, eat-in kitchenette, and the most beautiful fire escape you’ve ever seen. The newly renovated space has high ceilings and room-specific air flow with HEPA air purifiers. The waiting room has plenty of seating and a space for checking in/out and transacting. It can host small workshops and gatherings (10-25 people).

Soundproofing was an important consideration in the design and construction of the space so each room is private and quiet. The waiting area was specifically designed away from the treatment rooms to keep noise-required activities separate from the treatment rooms. Practitioners' workspace is also strategically placed away from the waiting area to minimize distraction, allow for uninterrupted concentration, flow of energy, and creativity during working hours.

There are 4 sinks to maximize hand washing accessibility: one located in the herbal dispensary/laundry, one in the kitchenette, one in the main bathroom, and one in the dedicated staff bathroom for practitioners.

Fully furnished and decorated treatment room with Earthlite massage table, table warmer, heat lamp, sound machine, patient and practitioner seating, hook for patient clothing/jacket, individual room air flow of A/C and heat, Sonos speaker, pillows, space blanket, tissues, hazardous sharps container and waste removal service, towel/linen service, and dedicated in room cabinet storage space. Access to shared administrative office workspace w/ privacy storage (small lockable file cabinet) and above cabinet storage, kitchenette, dedicated staff bathroom, wifi, printer, access to herbal dispensary (practitioner discount on herbs from dispensary) water and tea for practitioners and visitors. Front reception, professional deep cleaning of the rooms and trash removal is included.

Due to the individuality of how people work, acupuncture and any other supplies not mentioned are not provided, but there is space within your room to store your supplies as well as the shared office space for privacy and confidential items (patient files). Smokeless moxa is allowed. Burning of individual pieces of sage or other herbs is allowed but with regard for other practitioners that may be sensitive. Burning of pole moxa, loose moxa, grain moxa, moxa boxes, or bundles of herbs is not permitted.
